These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the mobile application Second Wind (the "App"), available on iOS and Android.
Second Wind is operated by independent developers based in Turkiye ("we", "us", or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Description of the App
Second Wind is a quit-smoking tracking and recovery motivation application. The App allows users to:
- Track smoking frequency and habits
- Log cravings and behavioral triggers
- Choose between "Quit Now" and "Taper Mode"
- View motivational recovery progress
- Monitor behavioral statistics
The App is intended for informational and motivational purposes only.
2. Medical Disclaimer
Second Wind is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. The App:
- Does not diagnose, treat, or prevent disease
- Does not replace professional healthcare advice
- Should not be relied upon as a substitute for medical consultation
You are solely responsible for decisions related to your health and nicotine cessation. Use of the App is at your own risk.
3. Eligibility
You must meet the minimum age required by applicable app store policies and local law to use the App. The App is not intended for children.
4. No Account Registration
Second Wind does not require traditional account registration. Users are identified internally through device-linked identifiers and system-generated user IDs. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device.
5. Future Paid Features
The App currently offers free functionality. We may introduce subscription-based or premium features in the future. If introduced:
- Pricing and billing terms will be clearly disclosed within the app stores.
- Payments will be processed by Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Subscriptions will renew automatically unless canceled through the relevant app store.
Introducing paid features will not retroactively affect existing free features unless explicitly disclosed.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Interfere with security mechanisms
- Manipulate usage metrics
- Use the App for unlawful purposes
We reserve the right to suspend access if misuse is detected.
7. Intellectual Property
All software, design, content, branding, and features of Second Wind are owned by its developers and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial use.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Health outcomes related to quitting or tapering smoking
- Behavioral or lifestyle decisions made using the App
- Data loss due to device failure
- Indirect or consequential damages
If liability cannot be excluded, total liability shall not exceed any amount you have paid us in the previous 12 months.
9. Modifications
We may modify or update the App and these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkiye.
